Allan Kukral:
I’m a interactive designer/programmer. Originally I hail form the cold land of Chicago, but as recently as December, 2004, I relocated to the Big Easy, where I have been working since.
My B.A. is in Digital Media Technology which only meant to compliment the skills and practices that I had been acquiring as an employee of a design firm and a programming firm, throughout my college career. The ideals that I strive to exemplify in my work now include, but are in now way limited to: standards compliance, device independence, interface and navigation, interaction design, usability and user experience. Although, I’m reasonably adept at working with what I’m given, my personal tools of the trade are xhtml, css, actionscript, most adobe software, things some people still call macromedia, a cork screw and a tooth pick.
When I’m not busy feeling ways about stuff, I pay bills by working at a New Orleans interactive agency Netcom. On the weekends I practice grifting between freelance jobs. I spend an inordinate time in bars and watching Adult swim, in between frequent and violent boughts of dart playing, golden tee, eating, sleeping, and mild self-preservation.
