Easily some of the most beautiful paper craft I have seen. Each piece is hand cut and unique, but also comes framed, at a price that is more than reasonable for the depth, texture, and shear aesthetics you receive.
It was a pleasure to help create this site. It truly is a blessing in this industry to be able to work with something that I value and appreciate. AnnaBondoc.com is a Shopify site that I help to launch this week, that is the namesake of one of the two founders; Anna Bondoc and Vanessa Peter.
It was a challenging and pleasant new development experience, as this was the first time that I have worked in Shopify. Shopify is a hosted solution for e-commerce that uses a tag library, similar to ExpressionEngine, making it incredibly easy to implement and develop your own design.
For a first run through a custom design, the Shopify learning curve was at the very least refreshing as a developer with almost no solo e-commerce experience. There are some limitations on both the front and the back end, but the templating and page development is straight forward and very easy to work with.
Though not as robust as Magento, Shopify is now certainly at the top of my list for online sales solutions for those on a budget or those with out dedicated development staff. Anna Bondoc is at the top of my list for amazing artwork and certainly for any upcoming gifts.
Please check out AnnaBondoc.com. It’s nice to see something new and beautiful make the scene.
MakeBuzz a SEO and Internet Integration specialist launched their brand new site this morning. It is a wondrously magnificent culmination of design, content, flash, css, and jquery. It is css 2.1, XHTML transitional, 508, and WAI compliant. It’s graceful use of JavaScript navigation and flash animation, interaction spanning the HTML/Flash bridge compatible even in IE6, deep linking capabilities, and and stellar interaction make this a truly amazing site. The stuck footer and header, horizontal layout, and smooth animation of the navigation are unobtrusive and uniquely executed in this site. Please take a look, it has certainly pushed the envelope of forward progressive and cross-browser/backwards compatibility!
Not sure what Media Temple is doing with my email but nothing is coming in or out through SMTP, IMAP, or Webmail. I hope it gets fixed soon. This wasn’t in any update email I normally get…. wait… that’s why I didn’t get the email!
Not to beat a dead horse, but it’s been figured out. Thanks man! jQuery + Lightbox =
jQuery Lightbox Version 0.3. It was brought to my attention yesterday by Warren himself, and I would appreciate it if you took the time to visit his site.
Thanks.
jQuery’s own set of UI components for their javascript framework. Mouse Effects, Widgets, and Effects downloadable and themeable for creating highly interactive and engaging web applications. Learn more about jQuery UI.
New release of jQuery is finally out. They can rebuild it. They can make it stronger, lighter, faster. Click here for full documentation release notes. Notably jQuery now supports css color fades for extra double fresh goodness! Also added, %/em animation, relative position animation, and simultaneous and extensible animations. The list of updates to jQuery 1.2 goes on: selectors, attributes, traversing, manipulation, css, ajax, effects, and events!
Please take the time to peruse my freshly amended resumé. I believe you will find it more than satisfactory.
Thank you,

2 of the most useful internet readymades (webbymades?); jQuery and LightBox. jQuery is one of the more prominent javascript frameworks, and now even faster than before. LightBox is a javascript and css web application for pop ups and galleries; currently being used in a previous iteration on my site.
I’m very glad to see that people are moving towards real progress in the area of dynamic CSS with variables and globals. Moonfall is making a move in the right direction. It’s not difficult to set up CGI or Lua, and the idea of variables in CSS holds exciting prospects.
LightWindow v2.0, the “Ultimate light-’whatever’.” Unfortunately the downfall of this killer popUp replacement is that it’s run with Prototype and Scriptalicious. If someone could port this over to the smaller, faster jQuery I would be much more apt to suggest/adopt its use.
