Launch of Leontine Linens Brand New Site!!

Leontine Linens has been a client of mine for nearing on 3 years now, and certainly has been a wonderful experience. They specialize in highly custom linen design. Each aspect of the products they create are tailored to you exacting specifications and with a quality that I have seen unrivaled.

Now this incarnation of Leontine’s online brand has not encompassed the duration of our relationship, but it has certainly culminated in a beautiful presence. The site that currently inhabits the Leontine Linens URL is the sum total of nearly 3 months of planning, design and programming. It would not have begun with out great impetus to bring there online persona to the same level of quality as their print collateral.

I am very proud to say that this site has been my magnum opus. The photography direction, art direction, design, wire frames, programming and content management system have been personally crafted into their live site. Please take a moment to look over their site and their products; I would appreciate any feedback or comments that you have.

Media Temple and Email

Not sure what Media Temple is doing with my email but nothing is coming in or out through SMTP, IMAP, or Webmail. I hope it gets fixed soon. This wasn’t in any update email I normally get…. wait… that’s why I didn’t get the email!

Not to beat a dead horse, but it’s been figured out. Thanks man! jQuery + Lightbox =
jQuery Lightbox Version 0.3. It was brought to my attention yesterday by Warren himself, and I would appreciate it if you took the time to visit his site.

Thanks.

jQuery v1.1.4 & Light Box v2.03.3 Updates

2 of the most useful internet readymades (webbymades?); jQuery and LightBox. jQuery is one of the more prominent javascript frameworks, and now even faster than before. LightBox is a javascript and css web application for pop ups and galleries; currently being used in a previous iteration on my site.

Variable Driven CSS with Lua and CGI. CSS… with Variables! Moonfall!

I’m very glad to see that people are moving towards real progress in the area of dynamic CSS with variables and globals. Moonfall is making a move in the right direction. It’s not difficult to set up CGI or Lua, and the idea of variables in CSS holds exciting prospects.

This Not Your Father’s Lightbox

LightWindow v2.0, the “Ultimate light-’whatever’.” Unfortunately the downfall of this killer popUp replacement is that it’s run with Prototype and Scriptalicious. If someone could port this over to the smaller, faster jQuery I would be much more apt to suggest/adopt its use.

jQuery 1.1.3 is Lighter and Faster. Tastes Great, Less Filling. Now With Ginseng.

Not only is the compressed jQuery only 20k compressed now it’s running at 800% faster than previous incarnations of this fantabulous Javascript framework. It’s like a carb free energy drink! What’s not to love?!

When your done checking that to download your own copy, run over here to Interface elements for jQuery. Now this is something that doesn’t suck. Some more than fantastic to enrich your web experience.
